An Interesting Challenge...

Well that's us well into June now and here in Kilmarnock we have had an extremely busy month.

We had fantastic fun at the Ideal Home Show in Glasgow and couldn't believe just how popular our new hand made lampshades were with you all!

We also made some great new friends amongst the exhibitors and as a result have some great new products to share with you later this summer.

It never ceases to amaze me when people express their surprise that we are based in Kilmarnock and have such fabulous Home Interiors products. We're part of a booming band of small artisan shops that are popping up all over the town, it's well worth coming to have a look!

Of course you are here on our website, which leads me to that interesting challenge...

If you've ordered from us you know that your delivery won't arrive in a shiny new cardboard box stuffed full to the brim with unneccesary packing materials. We believe in re-using the many boxes and bubble wrap etc that our stock arrives in. Until recently no-one had commented on this, however we did have that interesting challenge from someone whose box was marked "chemicals". This was as a result of our salt lamps being highlighted on the packaging.

It did lead us to question whether we should but in shiny new boxes but we wondered what you thought? If you have a strong opinion on this one way or the other can you please let us know and we'll decide how to continue.

For now, we are really looking forward to our summer holiday. We will be closed from 5th July for 2 weeks, but will be up and running again as soon as we can after that.

Have a great summer everyone!
