I am writing this fresh from the Ideal Home Show. Yes, that's right, little Craigs of Ayrshire were invited at short notice to bring our fabulous collection to the Ideal Home Show at the SECC in Glasgow!
What an opportunity this has given us. From humble beginnings we were suddenly showing our range to over 50,000 people who share our love off quality interiors products.
We worked with our brilliant suppliers and makers to ensure that we had the stock and used this is an opportunity to preview some of our new stock that is beginning to be uploaded to the website.
So, what were people buying?
As expected, the Mcmoos merchandise was a roaring success. I can share with you that the most successful bag was "Fields of Love" which we have just taken new stock of.
We have started to stock Hill Interiors and debuted their "I Can't Reach" stool and some lamps, including the Alice-in-Wonderland inspired "Tea Party" light. Quirky, fun and unusual - just the way we like things!
Juniper and Jane - well, what can we say? Is there any better artisan textile makers in Scotland at the moment? As well as the Harris Tweed clocks we also showed cushions, tea towels, napkins and bags. Look for these on the website soon. I have to confess that I have taken a love for the Jaggy Thistle cushions. You may find them in my house if you ever come to visit..
So, what next?
We have just confirmed to be at the Scottish Home Show in Aberdeen from 23rd - 25th September. Then we have Girls Day out at the SECC 2nd - 4th December and Cameron House Christmas Fayre from 9th - 11th December. Keep an eye out for all of these on our facebook page.
Remember, we are at Milngavie Maker's Market on the First Saturday of the month as well as Drygate (1st & 3rd Sundays), Loch Lomond Shores (last weekend of each month) and also will be starting to appear at Culzean market.
Come and see us!
